International Series of Concerts 2010
Camerata Ireland’s annual International Series of Concerts got underway in Belfast at the start of June and encompassed the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Paris, where the orchestra has a three year residency, Cadogan Hall London and the National Concert Hall Dublin. The addition of Belfast as the starting point was particularly welcome.
Barry Douglas said 'Starting the International Series in my home town of Belfast is a real bonus and I am grateful for the support of Belfast City Council to enable this to happen in the wonderful surroundings of the restored Ulster Hall'.
