A message from Barry Douglas
Dear Supporter In the midst of these unprecedented times, we hope that you are keeping safe and well. We were very much looking forward to sharing our performances with you this summer, in a Beethoven themed festival marking the 250th anniversary of one our favourite composers. However, it will come as no surprise to you that we are unable to host our annual Clandeboye Festival this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As a community, we have all been adapting and adjusting to the new normal, and have embraced the government guidelines put in place for our collective safety. At Camerata Ireland we are continuing to strive to create memorable musical experiences for you, our friends. Although we cannot all be together this summer, our team are working hard behind the scenes to create a mini-concert series that you can watch online, from the safety and comfort of your own home.
In order to make this happen, we need your support.
This year we are unable to generate any income through ticket sales, so we would be extremely grateful if you would consider making a donation - perhaps your usual ticket costs - to help us continue to nurture young musical talent and bring the Clandeboye experience into your homes. Any donation that you are able to make is greatly appreciated and in return for your support we are excited to offer you access to exclusive rewards as part of the Friends of Camerata Ireland family. For more information on making a donation, or joining the Friends of Camerata Ireland, please visit the Support Us section of our website.
Thank you for your support. Your donations make a huge difference to us, and will allow us to respond together to the challenges of COVID-19, looking forward to a brighter future together. We look forward to unveiling our exciting ‘Clandeboye at Home’ experience later this summer - we promise it will be worth the wait! With warmest wishes,
Barry Douglas Artistic Director
